Nov 15 - All hail 'The King of The North' as Radja Afif officially sets foot in Asia Wrestling Entertainment (AWE)!

But no need to rise, please remain seated as this 'King' has no interest in social status, wealth, cars, women or even the latest gadgets in the market.

Living a simple life, Afif often spends his time training and meditating to compose himself, with his goal set on becoming the ultimate fighting machine, despite being dubbed 'King of the North' by his loyal fans.

Despite this, his entry into AWE doesn't come without  controversy. Several Malaysian wrestlers from Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MyPW) have shown  interest in joining AWE to social media after rumours of Afif signing a deal with AWE started to circulate.

This includes ‘The Malaysian Mafia’, Gotham and 'Furious' Faizal who has already hinted about his contract negotiations with AWE, based on his cryptic posting on Facebook about 'hunting in a bigger pond'.

According to AWE Head of Talent Acquisition, AWE has room for 'more than one' Malaysian wrestler in the promotion's roster.

“Radja Afif is one of the rising stars we were referring to. Based on the industry in Malaysia, there will definitely be more than one Malaysian wrestler that will join the company,” he said.
